HELP SEND SHS THESPIANS TO NATIONAL

We, as Sammamish High School’s thespian troupe, consisting in this case of Emma Tim, Sada Adams, Nathan Vincenti, James Fahey, Hayden Hallman, Caetlyn Conklin, and Josie Mermelstein, are working to attend the International Thespian Festival in Lincoln, Nebraska. As the only school in the Bellevue district to qualify to compete at the festival, we feel it is important for our school to represent itself at such national events. We are turning to local and national companies to help us sponsor our trip as we will not be able to fund the experience ourselves, and the entire fundraising and planning process is student-run.
The international festival is not only a good opportunity to show off what we can do as a school and represent the Bellevue community, but also to learn new things about our craft and ourselves. We are contacting your company in hopes that you would be interested in sponsoring a part of our trip. Admissions will cost $699 per person. We plan to raise $10,000 dollars in order to pay for admissions, airfare, transportation, and potential fluctuation in prices for seven students and one chaperone. Any assistance you can provide would be a substantial help to our troupe and would earn you logo space on our festival t-shirts or an advertisement in this year’s playbill!
This trip is especially important for our futures, most of us are planning on pursuing theatre in our post-secondary education. This event is not only beneficial for us now, but will also benefit us in the long run when it comes to our college education and careers. Without community support from businesses like yours, it will not be possible for our troupe to compete at nationals. Thank you for your time and consideration.
