I lost my Dad to lung cancer in February of 2011. Our community hospital is having their annual Golf Classic fundraiser in June, and they are having a Tee sign on every hole giving facts about lung cancer screening, which will also serve to provide some focus to their Lung Cancer Screening program as well. I, along with my sisters, parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends were all born at this hospital. While the purpose of the whole event is to support the hospital's IR expansion campaign, this one facet of the event is personal to me.
As a start, it would give me great pride to sponsor each one of those Tee signs in my Dad's name. There are 18 Tee signs @ $100ea., so I'd like to raise a total of $1800. Whatever amount you'd like to contribute will be appreciated. If I can raise more, well then I'll also sponsor the beverage cart in his name! He'd love that. He was such a great man.
