Deze gofundme zet ik als een van de 'besties' van Shruti op, met toestemming van haar familie, om hen te helpen met de kosten die een uitvaart nou eenmaal met zich mee brengt. En de kosten die, voortvloeiend daaruit, daarna nog volgen. Ook omdat verwacht wordt dat opkomst hoger zal zijn dan eerder door haar familie werd verwacht.

Shruti werd door velen gekoesterd om haar fijne, warme uitstraling, waarmee zij vaak in staat was harten te raken. Ondanks lasten die zij zelf dapper droeg, had ze vele momenten waarin ze een groot doorzettingsvermogen had om wat van het leven te maken. En zocht en vond zij kracht in zowel kleine als grote geluksmomentjes die het leven te bieden heeft, en wist zij anderen in de (open) ruimten waarin zij zich bevond daarin mee te nemen. Haar plotselinge overlijden heeft velen de afgelopen dagen ontzettend geraakt. Haar familie en vele vrienden en bekenden willen uiteraard graag op een waardige manier afscheid van haar nemen. Te voelen aan in ieder geval de vele woorden van steun aan haar dierbaren, online en offline, zullen velen haar de laatste eer komen bewijzen.

Laten we dit met z'n allen realiseren, zodat zoveel mogelijk mensen die dat willen, hier toe in staat kunnen zijn, om er bij te zijn.

Als een van haar beste vrienden, wil ik bij deze jullie allemaal bedanken voor de vele woorden van steun die onderling zijn uitgewisseld! Voor mijzelf sprekende: bijzonder veel dank hiervoor, het doet me goed, ondanks dat ik niet haar partner of familie was.

Hi dear family, dear friends and former collegeaues of Shruti, and other people that have known her.

This page is set-up to help Shruti her family (with their permission) with the proceedings helping towards realizing the funeral, since the financial burden that is attached to them. And to make it possible that all her family and friends that are able to come, can have a proper final goodbye to our cherished, beloved, warm and foremost unique person that Shruti was!

Shruti her passing on October 5th, at the age of just 38 has left a lot of people that knew her devastated and beyond words, myself as one of her best friends included.

Shruti was like no other able to light up a room on her brightest moments. An inspiration, since she had many things to bear underneath, for others, how she handled that, and formed a beacon of hope!

From the many supporting words that have gone around, online and offline, after her passing, we know many people will want to attend the funeral to be part of the final goodbye for our beloved angel, that is now flying high up the sky.

Watching and capturing the sky, sunset and the occasional sunrise, was something she loved to do. Pick up flowers from the fields, or stones from nearby the waterline, where she loved to be when she was outside on walks and often with talks.

Personally I shared many great moments with her, our so called golden times.

Many of her friends and other people that knew her, come from the eletronic dance music community. In this community she was cherished for her work behind the scenes for some DJ's, labels, promoters and organizations. Many people loved to see her, hear her talks and in that, she was an inspiration and knew how to enlighten a room with her presence.

She'll be missed by many, family, friends, other relatives.

Hopefully you can support this gofundme, so everyone that is able, can attend the funeral & ceremony that she deserves, hosting the larger than initially expected number of people.

Thank you for all the warm words of support that as organizer of this page, that my partner Linda and me have received, as a few of her best friends. We are broken, but the many messages and calls have helped.
