Help Us Bring the Shree Ram Community Centre Back to Life – Loughborough

For decades, the Shree Ram Community Centre in Loughborough has been more than just a building. It has been a place where friendships were formed, skills were learned, families gathered, and the local community came together.

Sadly, in recent years the centre has fallen out of mainstream use and the building has been largely neglected. However, a new and passionate committee has stepped forward with a shared vision to restore the centre and return it to the heart of the community where it belongs.

Together, they have already raised an incredible £55,000 towards a £100,000 target needed to complete the refurbishment project.

But we still need your help to make this vision a reality.

Why This Project Means So Much

Scope Construction has proudly stepped in to support, manage, and deliver this community-led project. For our directors, this is not just another construction project, it is deeply personal.

• Paz Patel attended the centre as a nursery child at just two years old.

• Maz Patel spent time here learning music and attending summer school programmes.

• Both directors and their families have been connected with and used the centre for over 35 years.

The Shree Ram Community Centre played a role in shaping our childhood and our community. Now, it is our turn to give something back and help secure its future for the next generation.

Our Vision for the Future

Once revitalised, the Shree Ram Community Centre will once again become a vibrant hub for the community, providing:

• A modern community hall for local events and gatherings

• Improved catering facilities

• Day care and community services

• A lift to improve accessibility for all

• Upgraded mechanical and electrical systems

• A safe and welcoming space for people of all ages and backgrounds

• Facilities suitable for community events, small weddings, celebrations, corporate meetings, and educational activities

This project will transform the centre into a thriving community space that serves Loughborough for generations to come.

How You Can Help

The refurbishment project is already underway, and we are working hard to deliver it within a tight timeframe. However, we still need to raise the remaining £45,000 to complete the transformation.

Your support, whether through donations, sponsorship, or simply sharing this initiative will help us restore a place that means so much to so many people.

Together, we can create a space where future generations can learn, celebrate, connect, and grow just as many of us once did.

Every contribution truly makes a difference.

Please support us in bringing the Shree Ram Community Centre back to life.
