Shred with Jaclyn: Fire Recovery Fund

Hello everyone!

I posted to the Unofficial Sugarloaf group earlier and am following through on a suggestion.

Yesterday evening, 12/17, my best friend, her boyfriend and their two young boys lost their home to a fire. Jaclyn and Kenton’s main priority right now is their two boys, as it should be. I was posting to see if I could find a lead on some used gear so Jac could still get out on the mountain this year and find some light in the darkness ahead.

I’ve had an overwhelming amount of comments and I probably haven’t been able to keep up with them all.

I figure that Jac needs EVERYTHING. Board, boots, bindings, goggles, base layers, mitts, neck up, you name it. I did find a helmet already and some clothing, but the most expensive items I haven’t found 100% yet. A new set up could be anywhere from 500 to god knows how much depending on brands and everything. A thousand may be more than enough, it may not be enough. But anything helps.

Whatever I manage to raise for Jaclyn will go to a new set up, if there is any money left over it will go towards the boys and rebuilding their life.
