We need your help! This is a story about love, pain, incredible resilience - and how to support the future of two strong boys who support their dad so much.
Jeff Homan and Tara Duncan were high school sweethearts and attended Ohio University together in Athens, Ohio. During their time at OU, Tara and Jeff both joined a business fraternity, Phi Gamma Nu making lifelong friends and memories. These two Bobcat alumni got married in November of 2002 and were later blessed with two sons, Evan and Cole.
Devastating news struck this family in May of 2017 when Jeff was diagnosed with ALS, which is also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. Despite their tragic situation, the Homan family is inspiring everyone around them by openly sharing their ALS journey, showing their steadfast love and trust in God, and dedicating themselves to "finish well" together.
Their OU Phi Gam Family was blessed to have met them at OU and needs your help to support the family in a unique way - to support Evan & Cole's college fund.
All of the Homan's time, attention and funds have gone to fighting this horrible disease. It is all consuming. While the Homan's are fighting the disease, we want to fight for Evan & Cole and give Tara and Jeff some peace of mind regarding their boys' futures.
