Update on Evy

Dear friends,

First, thank you all for your unwavering support, love, and prayers for our sweet Evy. Your kindness has been a light during some of our darkest moments.

We are currently in New York City, where Evy was enrolled in a new trial. At first, there was hope as the drug began to work, but it hasn’t had the full effect we were praying for. The doctors noticed a concerning growth—a mass on her thoracic spine and brain, pressing on the nerves. It caused numbness in her face, chest, and legs. Time was of the essence, and the medical team moved swiftly.

In just days, Evy underwent a rigorous 10-day course of radiation targeted at her brain and spine. Watching her go through this has been one of the hardest experiences of our lives. Her strength and courage leave us in awe every single day, even in the face of such immense challenges.

Evy continues to fight with everything she has, and we remain hopeful as we navigate these next steps. Every decision we make is driven by the desire to give her the best chance possible, and we hold tightly to hope, even when the path feels heavy.
