Please help to ease pressure of financial burden on Mariea

Donation protected
On the 9th of April my sister Mariea Crosby got blue lighted into heartlands Hospital with initial assessment by paramedics that she had gone into anaphylactic shock which she was given adrenaline for because her face and neck had gone really swollen on both sides. She had been suffering for six weeks prior not that you would of known as she carried on like the warrior she is, being really poorly with various tests carried out which all kept coming back normal until she had a chest X-ray done on that day in A&E which the results came back that they had found a mass on her lung. Initially this sent an absolute earthquake through the entire family as it was the last thing we ever wanted to hear after her partner Carl Campion rang the bell to end his six weeks of chemo treatment only the 4th of April for prostate cancer which thank god he is now in a five year remission for.

On the 18th of April it was confirmed that she did in fact have terminal stage 4 small cell lung cancer with liver mets and we were told it was in both of her lungs,in her glands on her neck which was wrapped around her oesophagus, spots in her liver,in her lymph nodes and in the bone marrow on the bottom of her spine. It was rapidly and aggressively growing  and was told if she had left it any later she would have had only a couple of weeks to survive it as it was spreading at a very quick rate if she was to refuse treatment but they can prolong her life span up to two years on ciboplastin/epitosimide treatment which is an extremely aggressive chemotherapy treatment which she will undergo every three weeks for six months and then continuing to live the rest of her life on immunotherapy once chemo has ran it’s course.

Since this diagnosis it has put a massive financial burden onto Mariea and her children and we want to help ease that burden so that they can put plans into place with helping care for Mariea’s 28 year old disabled son Jacob who has duchenne muscular dystrophy which is a muscle wasting disease and he is slowly reaching the end of his life span also. Mariea has cared for Jacob all of his life as a single mother with no help from anyone and never asked or expected anything in return whilst also looking after her three other children Connor,Codie&Shay, this is our way of giving back to such a wonderful, kind and caring family that’s always gone above and beyond for anyone that’s came into contact in their life.

As little as £1 will help any donation is muchly appreciated to help ease this financial burden that she will continue to have over the following months when she gets sicker from her chemotherapy and is no longer able to support her family and it takes the worry off of her and her children all whilst they’re going through this difficult time.
