Hello everyone!!!

My name is Elizabeth Soto, and I am proud to serve as President of the Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) Chapter. Our chapter is very excited about the invitation and the possibility of traveling to North Carolina to attend the 2022 SHPE National Conference.

Attending the national conference would be a great opportunity and experience for each of our members, all engineering students at different levels of attaining their degrees.

We are working hard to gather the funds to support 15 members to attend the conference this year. The money we raise will pay for travel, registration fees, and room & board while at the conference. As President, I hope this Go Fund Me Page will help our chapter achieve our goal of raising funds to get us to Charlotte.

Many of us are first-generation college attendees, soon-to-be college grads – and Engineers! Truly a dream come true for us and our families. This conference, the experience, training, development, and networking would benefit us tremendously. I hope you will consider donating towards our goal.
