Louis (Duke) Fountain has battled Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) since 2018. His chemotherapy treatments are no longer effective and he’s been recommended for a bone marrow transplant.

Good news: we found a match!

Next Steps: begin transplant process

 

He will undergo a bone marrow transplant at Mayo Clinic in Minnesota within the next 6 weeks (estimated to begin process by mid November). Louis will be required to re-locate to the Rochester, MN area while he undergoes the process and recovers, for a minimum of 3 months with doctors orders to not work for atleast 6 months.

All proceeds will be directed to Louis Fountain to assist with medical bills and related expenses. Louis has always shown up for his friends, family, colleagues and the Des Moines youth. We are using these fundraising efforts to #showup for him!
