If you know Barb, you already know how much she means to the people around her. She’s one of those people who instantly makes others feel better. We have all seen the impact she has on others. She genuinely cares about everyone around her.
Recently, Barb underwent surgery to remove a very rare form of adrenal cortical carcinoma cancer. Just like Barb, the rarity of adults having this type of aggressive type of cancer is 1 in a million. Thankfully, it seems like the hard part is over, but she needs to be on medication for the next few years, and the cost of that is significant.
A lot of people have asked how they can help her, and this felt like the most direct way to do that. Barb is someone who has always shown up for others, and now it’s our turn to show up for her.
If you’re in a position to give, anything helps. And if not, even just reaching out to her or sharing this means a lot.
