Showing Up for a Family Who Needs Us

Hey y’all, my name is Katie, and I’m putting this together for a sweet family that’s going through something incredibly hard right now. Their son has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, and unfortunately, his health is declining fast. His prognosis isn’t good, and time with him is running short.

His sister is someone I’ve gotten to know, and she’s carrying so much on her shoulders. She’s currently out of state and hasn’t been able to be with her family due to financial reasons—but we’re trying to change that.

This fundraiser is to help with two things:

️A new electric lift – to help make caring for him easier and safer for his parents. This equipment is critical right now and something they just can’t afford on their own.

Getting his sister to Tennessee – so she can be with her brother and spend time with him while she still can. She deserves that chance to be with her family and say goodbye.
