Hello friends and family,
Some of you may know and some may not. Back in December my husband, Steven Witherspoon from Oberlin, Ohio suffered sudden blood clots in both of his legs as well still having mulitple other health issues. Steven went untreated for so many hours the muscle in his leg begin to die and release toxins through out his body, attacking vital organs. This made recovery very scary and doctor's writing him off assuming Steven would not make it. But GOD had other plans. Having his body under attack resulted in him having to have an emergency above the knee amputation to his right leg and suffered multiple strokes . During this time of recovery, Steven remained sedated for more than 3 1/2 weeks in the ICU. Sustaining infection after infection as well as a heart attack at some point or another. On January 18th in a disbelief state of mind, Steven became aware of himself and what had happened to him. Working as hard as he can, Steven put in alot of work to be released from the ICU to a regular floor now currently in a real rehab setting, working harder than ever to return back home to his family. Steven sacrificed and devoted his future to creating a platform for the stability of his own family. Sitting along beside being sure that everything went according to GOD'S plan for Steven's life, left me with out the ability to work as well as not being able to recieve his paycheck to help with current and upcoming finances. This put us in a hardship.
Steven is just a few weeks away from being released from rehab to return home. Unfortunately our home is not handicap accessible for him. Steven has done and been there for so many people in the community from coaching the cities youth football team to providing jobs for families of the community with his company GoGreen Landscaping. I am now reaching out to return the same love to him that he has for so many others. Any help or assistance in providing a ramp for him to be able to get inside of our home and out for appointments or emergencies if they arise is greatly appreciated. Any help big or small or any leads or advise in how too complete this task is also greatly appreciated as well to make his home coming a smooth one.
