Dear Friends,

 

Hi, my name is Chabeja Roseline Arokeh (known as CRAmakeup). This fundraiser is to help me and my sick father who is suffering from tissue cancer. I’m a self taught makeup artist from an underdeveloped country (Cameroon) which has been in a civil war since 2016 (Anglophone Crisis) and still ongoing.

 

I face a lot of difficulties creating content and following my artistic dreams, not only because of the unsafe atmosphere in my region (gross violation of human rights), but also because inspite of my great social media following and support (tiktok 1.1m followers and Instagram 88k) I can’t generate income to support my father or get necessary items for my content creation. Neither YouTube nor tiktok are monetized here in Cameroon. I also get brand collaboration offers but they cannot ship here unfortunately and my location is discouraging .

 

I wish to raise some funds to relocate to another country which is safe and where I can use my creativity, as well as generate finances to help with my father’s medical bills and needs. I’m so grateful for the moral support and encouragements I’ve been receiving during these tough times . So I say THANK YOU to my Instagram and tiktok community. There’s no me without you guys. I’m so grateful to be lucky enough to stand out here and share my story and creativity with you all. Thanks again."
