Our dear brother has fought a long battle that has now given him his wings to be with the ones he loss before him. HE IS NO LONGER IN PAIN. He didn’t pass away from COVID. He has passed away from neglect from many facilities and he fought all the way through until the fight just was too much for him. No attorneys would take his case since he had been paralyzed since he was 19 years old, from a motorcycle accident that broke his neck, that they look at his life worth before this injury (mysterious brain injury)and they said basically his life was not that valuable on paper cuz he had prior injury. One attorney stated it’s not pain and suffering cuz he can’t feel. Just absolutely sad! Neglect hot lines and all has been made with no good results. His sister Amina doesn’t have much money for all his expenses for his funeral, balloon memorial release and his repass. She is asking for all the help that your able to give. She has fought so hard for him with him and they both just didn’t get a chance to prove he was the strongest paraplegic many may only know. They deemed him as a vegetarian state and he wasn’t! Until proven other wise. At that point the bed sores were too bad. And had gotten worse throughout many facilities. So they counted him out from the very beginning. I had life insurance until march of 2022. His sister had a house fire in January. She paid but it had to get bounced back and she didn’t know it and because she was waiting on guardianship for him while fighting they never sent the notice to her address. She didn’t find out until she went to pay again. And it had lapsed. They wouldn’t reinstate him because he was already in hospital. We just want to keep fighting for REEM even though they wouldn’t and just give him the best send off to PEACE AND NO PAIN the way KAREEM would had done for us all. The heart he had was bigger than life.  HE WAS LOVED AND HATED FOR THE SAME REASON!! A heart of GOLD! ONLY GOFUNDME PAGE THAT HIS FAMILY HAS MADE.
