As the winter break nears, the Parent Council has gotten questions from parents on how they can give a gift of appreciation to their teachers. TCU actually discourages giving individual gifts to teachers as different classes may have parents of differing financial means, and we want to make sure our teachers are appreciated regardless of their students' financial status. To facilitate that, we have an annual Winter Teacher Appreciation Gift fund that we use to pool gifts and distribute to teachers evenly. This is a wonderful opportunity for us to thank our 18 teachers and staff for all of their hard work throughout the year.

If you wish to give, we ask that you donate on or before Tuesday, December 17th so we can acknowledge our teachers on Thursday, December 19th during Winterfest. Last year, we raised over $3,000 for our wonderful teachers and staff!
