Showing appreciation for the volunteers of the RNLI
50-year-old Jason was first reported missing at 11pm on Monday 2nd June, after a boat that he was on ran aground, causing him to enter the water to try and free it.
Jason was later discovered in the water in the area of Rockley Harbour just after 9.30pm on 3rd June.
Multiple specialist units were involved in bringing Jason back home to his family including the dedication of the RNLI.
Without their support, Jason’s family would have never of had their chance to say their goodbyes.
It was not the outcome anyone wanted and it highlights the events in which the volunteers deal with and come face to face with and still they turn up each and every time.
