Showering the Runions with Love

Our dear friend Steve Runion had a massive heart attack on Friday, November 11th at his home in Gering. He and his beautiful wife Kim were visiting over morning coffee & watching a morning show together, when suddenly, Steve became non responsive... God was right there with them, as Kim saved Steve's life as she & Sean waited for the rescue unit to arrive. Steve coded twice in the ambulance on the way to the hospital & was flown by AirLink to Highlands Ranch for specialized medical care.

 

Kim & her family are so grateful for all the prayer support that they have received and are overwhelmed by the outpouring of love that they have been surrounded with.

 

This morning, Kim & Steve's niece Shelley Wieker reached out and wanted to know how she & others could help, and the idea of creating a Go Fund Me page for the Runions was born! Kim & Steve have done so much for others, and Shelley said she thought it would be a great idea if there were a way for us all to repay them right now, when they are away from home & Steve is recovering. Shelley's right... together, we can reach through the miles &share our love with the Runions in this way!

 

All monetary gifts that are given here for the Runion family will go towards supporting Kim & Steve & their boys for costs associated with having to be so far away from home: lodging, meals, & other unexpected medically incurred expenses that are not immediately covered by their insurance.
