UPDATE:

WE RAISED ENOUGH TO BLESS HER WITH THE GREEN KITCHEN AID MIXER SHE WANTED. WILL DELIVER THE GIFT TONIGHT. Setting up the go fund me to get her out of her situation that she is in. She’s a SAHM who has therapy sessions all week for her son who’s on the spectrum. She doesn’t receive any help at home from the father of her son. She’s in a crappy situation with no way out. Hoping we can change that and provide enough money for rent for an apartment for a couple months so she can get on her feet. Any amount would be greatly appreciated. My #Neighbor she’s a #goodperson an amazing full time #mom who gives all her time to help her son who no one gives the time of day. Because everyone thinks he’s too “difficult!” he’s a great kid on the spectrum & shes doing her best to navigate what’s going to help him thrive in life. All her time goes into her beautiful son.

This evening was a tough one, she’s just an overwhelmed mama who wants to be seen. The father of her son asked her what she’d like for Xmas & she was so over the moon because it’s been years since she received anything from him & unlike her he’s NOT a good person. All she wanted was a cake mixer to make all her recipes she wants to sell to be able to help her family. Her son’s father told her he would get it for her, & once again he never gets her anything. Well she found the mixer on sale & was so happy to share the news with him. He then tells her, actually I spoke with my mom & we decided you don’t need that, you’ll be fine with a hand mixer. Much cheaper & it’s not like you need anything special anyways.

My poor friend came over to gift me a stocking she crocheted for my dog, cried her eyes out & just needed to be held & reminded that she too is worthy. I love my friend so much. It’s not about the mixer, it’s that she felt she is undeserving of nice things. I would love to gift her one, if anyone would like to help. Please lmk. This mama is kind, giving, & so incredibly caring. I would love for her to feel that she too deserves to be gifted & loved. ##fy##f
