Shower Sweet Cecilia Kate ("Cici") with Support

Sweet Cecilia Kate (“Cici”) Guillory was born on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at 36 weeks to Alex and Emily Covington-Guillory.

Cici suffered trauma at some point either in utero right before, or during, her birth wherein she sustained a severe brain injury. Cici remains in NICU at Ochsner and is expected to have a long-term stay. Alex and Emily do not know, and won’t for some time, how severe Cici’s injury is, nor do they know what her future looks like. What Alex and Emily have been told is that they can expect to have a special needs child with disabilities of some kind.

While we still believe in miracles and are praying that sweet Cecilia Kate is completely healed, we would ask for your kind consideration in helping this family prepare for the journey ahead in caring for sweet Cici. The donations received will be dedicated to her medical needs, including medical bills, various therapies she is expected to need, any accessories or medical equipment, etc., that may be necessary to provide her with the best care possible during her NICU stay, and once she is home.
