Our dear friend Daniel "Danny" Gomez was the victim of a brutal hate crime last weekend.  Danny went out to a club Friday night, was lured out and then beaten nearly to death. He was left in the woods behind the club for nearly 13 hours, unable to talk, see or move until he was found Saturday afternoon and ambulanced over to a hospital. Danny suffered 16 broken ribs, a broken nose, broken cheek bone and damage to internal organs. His liver and kidneys are failing and he is currently on dialysis.  Doctors are hopeful but say Danny has a long recovery ahead and may remain in hospital for a good while.

These funds will go towards deductibles and co-pays of medical bills not covered by his insurance as well as loss of income from missing work.

Danny has always been an amazing friend, the kind that can always make everyone laugh, makes chicken soup for you when you are sick, and even comes over and cleans your house when he stops by...just because! Through this fund, we want to show Danny some LOVE and encouragement as well as ease his financial burdens.
