These days are ever changing. Medical care, especially, has changed with the added stressors of Covid and rising medical costs.  Jobs are also changing, with fewer options for individuals and especially small businesses owners to cover the full cost of medical insurance for their employees and families.

For my nearly 2000 patients around the Asheville area, I appreciate the opportunity to care for you over the last 8+ years. The time has come for needed change; not just a time to reduce my 40 minute drive, but it is time to put an end to the control of insurance companies over my job and your care.  It is time for a primary care center where savings options and availability are the focus, where medical decisions are protected and private, and where healing can really take off. It will not be on our own, but in cooperation with the community.

Freedom Family Health was created, first,  to glorify God, as it is His love, sending Christ, that sets us free. It is in His example of sowing into each other in order to find our own healing.

 

Though Freedom Family Health will function as a low-rate membership model called Direct Primary Care (DPC), its vision is much more. It's vision is to bring together many disciplines, like counseling, personal training, massage and more to aid in more whole body care, but also better affordability. It will create new support found in community, to find balance and encourage healing.

As a DPC, it will serve individuals, families but also small businesses for employee medical coverage.  The cost will range from $35-$95 per month based on age.

 

I hope many of you will make the jump with me to this new location, but also the newer way to enjoy medical care with your doctors office, the way it used to be.

3. For those who have already made the decision to move on, and not to continue with me as their PCP, please consider contributing to my vision or as a token of thanks for the care in years past.

Starting a practice like this can easily cost $25,000-$50,000 if renting a space.  Any help is appreciated and will aid in this vision taking hold and changing lives and the community! I hope to open in January or February. God Bless each of you.
