Bea has poured her heart and soul into this community, her church, so many organizations, and into so many of us personally. Her radiating love shines through every day, despite what’s going on personally.

Little Diane is about to undergo massive surgery at the University of Utah on her spine that will leave her in the hospital for months. On January 6, 2026, Diane will begin a major medical journey at the University of Utah, where she will undergo a Halo Gravity Traction procedure. She’ll remain in traction for 4–5 weeks to help prepare her for the actual surgery. Then, on February 10, 2026, Diane will have a Spinal Fusion surgery, followed by another 4 weeks of recovery and rehabilitation in the hospital.

Diane depends on her mom, Bea, every day for care and comfort. Bea works full-time at the Stock Farm Club and also provides entertainment services to help make ends meet. During Diane’s hospital stay, Bea will need to take time off work to be by her side throughout this long and challenging process. Diane feels safest and most at ease when her mom is with her, so Bea’s presence is essential to her healing and emotional well-being.

Diane’s 16-year-old sister, Beatrix, has been a constant source of love and inspiration. Having her as a big sister has helped Diane keep up and defy every odd that was set against her. Doctors once said she wouldn’t walk or talk, but today, she’s running, laughing, and proving them wrong every single day.
