On October 10, 2022, Patrick Irwin was taking the bus from Nyack, as he has done routinely for many years, and while crossing the street, he was struck by a car driving on the wrong side of the road. What had started as a bus ride to Nanuet turned into an ambulance ride back to Nyack Hospital. Patrick suffered serious injuries requiring surgery to repair.

Anyone who knows Pat will tell you he is a talented pool player and a loving friend. I have played pool with Patrick every Monday for the past 15 years, and I am reaching out to everyone in the community to lend him a hand.
