Show your love and support for Iola and her family

This is Iola. The strongest 12 year old I know and will ever know! On April the 23rd, this incredible young girl was involved in a horrific road accident. As a result of this, she was airlifted to Alder Hay Hospital and, within minutes, was faced with a life saving emergency operation. Her family were told she was unlikely to survive this, but Iola being the fighter she is, has proved everyone wrong as always and is responding to all of the treatments made by the major trauma team. Iola has also had to have 2 other major operations on her abdomen and was placed in intensive care in critical condition because her injuries were and are so severe.

As her football coach and one that would go to the end of the world and beyond to make sure the girls that I have the privilege of coaching are happy, safe and well, this horrible news shattered me. I ask kindly that you’d all please join me in showing your love and support for Iola in her very long road to recovery, and her family as they navigate through this incredibly difficult time
