If you live in Sedella, you probably already know Scott—because he’s helped you in some way. He’s the one spraying for weeds or pests just because he noticed you needed it. He’s building custom pieces and barn doors on the side. He’s organizing events like our annual UTV light parade to bring the community together. He’s always the first to step in, lend a hand, and figure out a way to help. That’s just who he is.

Last night was no different. When reports went out about a missing elderly woman with diabetes, Scott didn’t hesitate. He jumped in his Razor and went searching—covering miles of dirt fields and areas patrol cars couldn’t reach. After hours of searching, he found her sitting alone against a tree. He got her safely into his SXS to bring her to law enforcement, but before he could make it back, his vehicle caught fire. Even in that moment, his priority wasn’t himself or his Razor—it was making sure she was safe. He got her out and to safety before anything else. Because that’s the kind of person he is.

Now, Scott is left dealing with the aftermath: an insurance deductible, loss of tools he kept in his Razor, and damage from something that happened while helping someone else. So we want to do what he would do for any of us—show up. If he’s ever helped you, made you feel part of this community, or if you just believe in supporting people who do the right thing, this is our chance to give back.
