George was more than just a friend to me—he was my BEST friend for over 25 years. He touched the lives of so many people in our community, always ready to lend a hand or offer support. Recently, George suffered a stroke and was rushed to the hospital. Tragically, he then experienced two cardiac arrests. The loss of oxygen caused extensive damage to his brain, and after six days on life support without regaining consciousness, he passed away. It’s been a heartbreaking time for all of us who loved him.
George lived a humble life, relying on a limited income from Social Security. He had no savings, no retirement, and no life insurance to help cover his final expenses. We are asking for help to pay for his cremation and a small celebration of life service. We plan to spread his ashes, along with those of his faithful dog Buddy (who passed away six months ago), at Lake Casitas—just a few miles from the home where George spent most of his life.
George had countless friends who shared stories of how he was always there when they needed him. As an auto mechanic, he never hesitated to help someone whose car had broken down or wouldn’t start. He could always be counted on to show up and lend a hand. Now, I’m asking all of you to show up for George by making a donation of any size to help with his final expenses. Your support means the world to me, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
