If you know Courtney, you already know what a light she is. She’s hilarious, loving, fun, fiercely supportive, and somehow still manages to lift others up — even when she’s going through the hardest moments of her life.
With her 41st birthday coming up on June 12, we’re holding onto something we once weren’t sure we’d get to celebrate. There were moments — real, scary moments — when we didn’t know if she’d make it this far. But by the grace of God, she’s still here. Still smiling, still showing love, and still being the incredible force we all adore.
As many of you know, Courtney recently received a kidney transplant after 10 years on dialysis — a decade of fighting for her life. Her new kidney hasn’t fully “woken up” yet, and recovery has come with some complications.
And while she would never ask for help, the truth is: she could really use it right now.
Courtney’s life has always been about helping others. Her job supporting children in need at the Department of Education doesn’t pay much, and she’s constantly giving — through volunteer work, and just showing up for people. She once said she just wanted to be able to look at her account after paying bills and see $1,000 left. That was her dream — not for luxury, but for peace.
We know we can do more than that for her.
We want to give her the gift of healing without worry. To let her rest and recover without the stress of bills piling up. And maybe — just maybe — to have something left over for a dream that’s been sitting on the back burner for too long: a cruise.
After 10 years on dialysis, Courtney has never had the freedom to go.
We would love for her to finally set sail once she’s healed — to celebrate her strength, her life, and the joy she gives to so many.
If Courtney has ever made you laugh, dance, inspired you, or lifted your spirit, now is the time to give back. Let’s surround her with love, show her she’s never alone, and help her heal — fully, freely, and joyfully.
Any amount helps. Every share matters.
Let’s give Queen Courtney the peace she deserves, the birthday she’s earned, and the cruise of her dreams.
