Hello to you ALL,
My name is J.C. Wynne and I am old school friends, since we were kids, with the Great Toussaint Tyler from Oceanside, California.
As many of you know, Tootie was an accomplished athlete in Football, Basketball and Track and Field from elementary school and into his NFL playing days. He entertained us with his skills and made us all smile with his gift of charm that only Tootie could give and his laugh and smile that is still infectious to this day.
We have started this Go Fund Me page to raise some money to help our dear friend Tootie as we have all grown to call him. As his fame and fortune has faded into the history books our dear friend and team mate has fallen victim to the disease of dementia that will eventually take his life and for that reason, a few of us close friends and his sister Demetria have taken on the task of ensuring that the remainder of Tootie’s storied life be as peaceful and full as possible.
With that being said, we humbly ask any support his many many fans, friends or family can send his way to help make this dream a reality.
We are calling on the Oside Pirates (1st High School), El Camino Wildcats (2nd High School), Washington Husky’s (college) and the New Orleans Saints nations, and all others who wish to help, to come together and give Tootie one last send off.
His big sister, Demetria, has taken in Toussaint to provide care for him. She lives in a very small house in the 29 Palms area of California.
They will be in “need” of various things like a ramp for wheelchair access, fencing for the property so our Toussaint won’t wonder off into the dessert, upgrading to the bathroom for roll in showering and a one year lease to start for a transport van with wheelchair accessibility for doctor appointments.
They have requested a couple of small thing as well like a small deck that Toussaint can be rolled out on with some hummingbird feeders as watching them feed gives our Tootie great pleasure and keeps hIm relaxed in his mind. I for one would love to help my friend live out his remaining days watching the hummingbirds drink from their feeders.
We will also be setting up a Mail Drop box for anyone who would like to send cards or letters of encouragement to Tootie.
Finally, thank you to everyone who took the time to read this Go Fund Me Request and to everyone who can find it in their hearts to help Toussaint live out his final days with the joy of knowing his Fans, Friends and Family loved him enough to help when it matters the most.
God Bless… Go Dawgs, Go Saints, Go Wildcats and Go Pirates and all their Fans!!!
