Show Susan God's Love in Action

Dear Friends,

I’m coming to you today with a heartfelt plea for one of my best friends and sister in Christ, Susan Greenrose. She has no idea I’m doing this (and please don’t tell her). I have been praying, and the Lord placed it so clearly on my heart that the body of Christ needs to come together for Susan. Jesus wants her to feel seen, known, and deeply loved.

Susan has endured an unthinkable betrayal and loss. After over 30 years of marriage, her husband broke their covenant in multiple ways, drained their finances, and abandoned her to pick up the pieces. The only money she may have left to call her own will come when she sells her house—her last source of financial stability.

What’s remarkable is that, through it all, Susan has remained faithful to the Lord. She constantly prays for others, intercedes on their behalf, and gives her time and resources generously, even when she has so little herself. But now it’s time for us to give back to her.

As many of you know, Susan doesn’t have a reliable car. She’s currently borrowing her son’s vehicle, which sometimes has mechanical issues. She is so grateful to have a car but she deserves a safe, dependable car that can carry her through this season and that she can call her own. More than that, Susan deserves to see and experience the overwhelming love of God in action through us.

The Lord woke me up at 4:00 a.m. and said to me, “Abigail, the body of Christ is an extension of Me. This is how I will provide for Susan.”

James 1:27 reminds us: “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress…”

While Susan isn’t widowed in the traditional sense, her husband has walked away, leaving her emotionally and financially abandoned. It is our privilege to step into this gap and show Susan the love of Christ in a tangible way.

And just look at her photo! Doesn’t she radiate joy, grace, and the beauty of a life rooted in Jesus? Her love for flowers mirrors her personality—vibrant, giving, and always blooming, no matter the circumstances. Matthew 6:28-29 says,
“Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.”

Just as the Lord clothes the lilies in beauty, He is clothing Susan in His love and care—and He’s using us to do it!

Here’s how you can help:
1. Donate – Every dollar helps us get Susan the reliable car she needs and ease her financial burden as she rebuilds her life.
2. Pray – If you can’t give financially, please pray for Susan! Pray for God to part the Red Sea for her, for her house to sell quickly and for a fair price, and for His provision to sustain her.

Let’s be a testimony of God’s goodness and faithfulness. Let’s show Susan that she is loved, cared for, and never alone.

Susan’s life is a reflection of her faithfulness to the Lord, and I know this gift will be a reminder to her that God sees her. He’s working in the shadows, even now, and He’s using us as His hands and feet to provide.

Thank you for your prayers, your generosity, and your love for Susan.

“Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us…” – Ephesians 3:20

Let’s come together and bless Susan with a car that reminds her she is not forgotten. Let’s remind her that God is faithful to His promises.

In Christ,
