On Friday, September 19, Steve Vaden and his daughter Sheradyn were injured while preparing for a school science demonstration.

Steve and Sheradyn were both transferred from CHOMP to a burn unit at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center for treatment. Steve has since been discharged, but Sher remains in the hospital as of today (Thursday, September 25).

Mr. Vaden is a very popular teacher at Monterey Bay Charter School. Sher is a former student at the school and has grown up helping her father in the forge. Donations of any amount are the simplest way to show love and support for the Vaden family as they heal.
