Show support for the Menninger Clinic and Suicide Prevention

Hello! My name is Virginia Ranton and I am raising money for the Menninger Clinic in Houston, Texas. The Menninger Clinic is a nonprofit organization that helps those in need of mental health support for many reasons, including anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, and many others.

For this Friday's football game, students will be wearing purple and teal to show their support. Everyone there for the game will receive a wristband to also show their support for this cause. The Purple with Teal Suicide Prevention Awareness Ribbon is to remind us that it's okay to not be okay.

September is known as Suicide Prevention Month to help everyone spread the word and to powerfully remind everyone that there are steps we all must take in looking out for our mental health, for loved ones, the people in our community, and those who have already been impacted by someone they loved. Suicide is the second leading cause of death for youth and young adults. More than 700,000 people die due to suicide every year. We hope everyone will be at the game to show support for Suicide Prevention and help get the word out! Thank you.
