Soju is a light in every dark room. His heart is the source of so much love and he so graciously shares it with everyone he meets. Despite some unfair and tough circumstances, Soju has spent every moment of his short two years on this planet choosing to see the best in this world. He has been my tasking Service Dog for around a year now and my faithful companion since day one. He loves spending time with his sister, showing his human family his toys, and catching his friends on new trails and adventures.

Soju is now facing his largest battle yet, Metastatic Pulmonary Carcinoma, also known as Lung Cancer. At only 2 years old we could have never imagined him on the wrong side of luck this soon. Soju is starting chemo soon, and while we don’t know exactly how much time we will have left with him we are hoping to fight for another 90 days. Right now we want to be sure he is able to live every remaining moment to the fullest.

- Oncology Copays for his weekly Chemotherapy his insurance does not cover

- A memorial photo shoot adventure with Lindsay Baca

- Sniffspot and Park fees so he can go on every last nature adventure with his humans

- Massage Therapy and other Therapeutic Care to support his body during this battle

- Toys, Food, and other assorted purchases

Thank you for reading about my sweet boy Soju. He is very appropriately named Shot of Life, as he brings so much life to everyone’s days. We are all so devastated by this news, but so touched by all of the support on his side. He is strong, we will make a great effort to support him every step in this journey.
