Hi everyone, my name is Michelle. My daughter Amber and her fiancé Tahj are going through a rough time. These kids have a heart of gold; they just recently added to the family with an emergency placement of a teenage boy that our family has known for years. These kids jumped through all the hoops to allow this kid to join their family, which is now a family of 6. They now have a 16 y.o., 7 y.o., almost 3 y.o., and a 1 y.o.

Well, yesterday their new son had to be life-flighted to Sutter Hospital due to DKA, a diabetic emergency. They both are there to show him he is loved and wanted. Due to this, Amber can't work, making this a huge financial issue for her and the family. Amber is an LVN, and Tahj keeps the kids on schedule and well cared for.

These kids have had a rough year. Just exactly a year ago, their 1 y.o. was life-flighted to the same hospital. They are down to one car from a car accident that wasn't their fault. Amber just started a new job this last week to accommodate her being able to go back to school to achieve her dream of being an NP. She has a son who is hearing impaired, and his medical appointments are a 3-4 hour drive away. Because there are no pediatric diabetic doctors in our area, her teenager has an hour drive to his specialist. But these kids do it all, and they do it with love.

I'm so proud of them both and wish to help them with their financial stress any way I can. So please, anything helps. Let's show these kids the love they deserve.
