I am raising funds for my Aunty, Marcia Buenafe, who is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer.

As many of us know, the state of our healthcare systems are racked with astronomical costs & endless energetic burdens of navigating impossible systems that are neither rooted in health, or care. It often times comes down to the love and generosity of community to alleviate these things through our personal redistribution of funds, and that is my ask of you today.

Marcia is an unwavering badass. She tells it like it is. She's intelligent, funny, kind, honest, generous, loving, and takes no shit. Champion Outrigger Canoe Racer, Minorsan Black Belt, surfer, stand up paddler, crossfit contender, and will STILL smoke you on the pickleball court after endless exhausting days of cancer treatment and PT as she recovers from her double mastectomy and undergoes chemo and radiation.

Marcia is the definition of what it means to be 'ohana, and embodying that in reciprocity means ensuring that no one gets left behind. That everyone in the family has what they need to survive and live with joy. It means a commitment to take care of one another both physically and emotionally.
