Hi, my name is Delina Kessaye and this week, I am traveling back to East Africa. This time I’m hoping to raise $500 to help support the children at Kidane Mehret Children’s Home in Addis Ababa.
Kidane Mehret is home to children who have been orphaned, abandoned, or are living with serious health and special needs. For many of these children, the orphanage is the first place where they experience safety, stability, and unconditional love. The sisters and caregivers there work tirelessly to provide food, education, medical care, and a sense of family for every child.
My goal is to help purchase books, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, and other hygiene and school supplies for the kids while I am there. Even small donations can go a long way in helping provide everyday essentials that many of us take for granted.
One former child from the home said, “It wasn’t just an orphanage… it was a home.” (CNEWA)
If you feel led to give, share, or pray for these children, I would be incredibly grateful. Thank you for helping me show love and support to kids who deserve to feel cared for, valued, and hopeful about their future. ❤️https://cnewa.org/magazine/broken-not-crushed/
