Show Love to Kim: Overcome Financial Loss

Kim and I have been traveling together for a few years now, we've bled and sweated for every dollar we can get. That includes lots of travel and online managing.

We aren't looking for a handout to serve some selfish desire, but to right a wrong.

Recently we have been scammed out of a $8,000 investment.

If you've been scammed by these "phishing" schemes then you know the deal, they seem like legitimate alerts to your account using keywords to lul you into a trap.

In little more than 20 minutes they walked away with over $9,835 of our investments through Coinbase.

It's a terrible feeling of guilt and self doubt, going over and over again the warning signs saying "why didn't I see it".

Its a simple scam but it cost us part of a down payment for a house, New car, or an emergency fund.

We were robbed and it's unfair, but it happens every day.

Kim has spread around good faith and friendship from starting a Gofund me for two people in the caricature community who were literally robbed.

Their car was stolen and the robbers walked with months of work.

I'm asking we show Kim the love and support she has shown others.

She is proud and would never ask for this, she's seen her life as an exercise in compassion and altruism giving and never asking in return.

Again, my art is nothing special and I don't want to get in the habit of asking people for handouts.

But it's not for me

It's for a woman with the biggest heart I know and who's lived her life giving to people.

We are not broke from this but it hurts and anyone who's fallen for this kind of thing can relate to the overall sense of betrayal and self hate.
