Show Love to Dierdre and Dakota After Fire

Dakota was a Cub Scout and a member of our Brookwood community, and he and his mom, Dierdre, lost their home to a devastating fire on Mother’s Day. Thankfully, they are both physically okay, but are reeling from the loss.

I bumped into Dierdre at the 5th-grade graduation ceremony, and you could not tell that she had just suffered such a tremendous loss. I later asked why she didn’t tell me about the fire, and she replied, “Because I wanted the focus to be on the kids' graduation.”

Dierdre is such an amazing mom and woman of faith. Please help me show her that our community lives out God’s word and help support her and Dakota as they trust God during this difficult time.
