Lymphoma Love for Shelby
Donation protected
It’s a rare thing to come across a person with such a genuine heart and deeply compassionate spirit as Shelby. Anyone who knows her will agree. Shelby needs our help right now and it's an honor to step up and contribute in her time of medical need.
At the end of June, Shelby discovered a lump had appeared on her neck and was considerably swollen. Concerned and without health insurance, she decided to go straight to the ER. After an urgent biopsy and many tests, she was diagnosed with stage 2 Hodgkin's Lymphoma and was advised to start chemotherapy that week.
She followed doctors’ orders, and will soon be completing her third round of chemo. Treatment is projected to continue another 3 months, and while her spirits remain high, the growing physical toll continues to challenge her ability to work in the ways she’s previously known. She is now covered by a Travis County insurance program for people with low-income, but many of her medical expenses will still be out of pocket and she is unable to work while receiving chemo.
This is where you, her dear friends, family, adorers, come in. If you are able to make a donation of any size to Shelby’s treatment costs, it would be deeply felt and forever appreciated. Let's let Shelby know how much we love her, and let her focus on healing without the stress of financial worry affecting her body, mind or spirit. Any amount, even $5, counts. Let's get Shelby well!
All our love and gratitude.
