Our sister Shelah Elliott had stroke at church on November 30, 2025, and was in the ICU until December 4, 2025. Subsequently Doctor’s found a hole in Shelah’s heart that was the cause of the stroke and needed repair. On January 12, 2026, Shelah had surgery to repair her tremendous heart. Shelah faced all this with grace, joy, and humility. Never once grumbling or complaining but simply praising God and giving him his Glory. Shelah and her family embody 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18… “Rejoice Always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

Tony has worked tirelessly to help Shelah recover and take care of his family’s every need. Now that the bills are stacking up, we are asking for help to allow the whole family to not worry about bills and allow them to focus on Shelah’s recovery.

It has been said that God will not give you more than you can handle, but that is not true. Sometimes God will give us so much we have no choice but to lean on him. Sometimes his help is sent through friends and people who care about you. As Jesus said in John 13:34-35… “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another”
