My friend and coworker, Sadie Hachman, bought a new-to-her car on Tuesday, February 23, and was T-boned on Thursday, February 25. She is alive and mostly well, thank God! She does have a few cracked ribs and some bruising but was released to heal at home.
Sadie has used up her savings to pay for the car in full, as well as to get insurance and to get the car legal.
She was so happy and proud to have accomplished this without asking for any help.
Now she has lost the car, the money, and days of work on top of that.
Sadie is a VERY hard and enthusiastic worker (you have probably met her at Hardee's in Old Town, FL). She is the one who will greet you with a huge smile, try to make you laugh while taking your breakfast or lunch order, and treat you like family the entire time you spend in our store. Rarely will you hear a cross word, and there isn't a mean bone in her body. She is, however, fierce and loyal when it comes to friends, family, or someone who is in a bind.
She will not ask for help, so I am asking for her. Any amount will help. Sadie truly could use some love and goodwill tossed her way.
