Many of you may know Roxie Sharp. She and her family have lived in our Iron River community for 47 years. Roxie has worked for the Iron River Grocery store for 27 years.

In 2022, Roxie received her first breast cancer diagnosis. She underwent a bilateral mastectomy and a hysterectomy, recovered, and was living cancer-free. In January 2025, Roxie found another lump. After tests were run, she found out the beast was back. Again, invasive ductal carcinoma. Roxie underwent more surgery, and her doctor does not want her to return to work until she has recovered from surgery and the treatment of the cancer.

She and her family have little to no income because of her illness. Let’s show her some small-town love and help out in her time of need.
