Sometimes our lives are touched by truly amazing friends. Phillip and Angela Greenwell are definitely a couple that have been a blessing to so many of us in countless ways. Phillip has been bravely battling some health issues that began in April 2024 with an emergency procedure to remove bilateral clots from his lungs. Shortly thereafter, he was rushed to the hospital with pancreatitis which resulted in gall bladder surgery in July. The gall bladder surgery resulted in complicated blood clots filling both legs. The recovery has been painful and difficult. In hopes to alleviate some of the pain, he opted to move forward with knee replacement surgery on May 7th. All doctors: hematology, vascular, and ortho were on board. Unfortunately, there have been multiple complications as his leg filled with a massive, painful hematoma making physical therapy and recovery extremely difficult resulting in a two week + hosptial stay. Yesterday, June 17th, Phillip was admitted yet again for IV antibiotics and incision care. At the time of this writing, another surgery to clear the infection is likely. His medical condition has continually kept him from work. Please consider helping them through donating to their financial needs so that Phillip can focus on healing without the burden and worry.
