To know Paul Thomas is to know joy personified. If you know him as a friend, as family, or at the bar at Detroit City Distillery, you know that he takes care of everyone. Now we need to band together to help him. On the evening of November 30th, Paul was driving home from work on 75 and was struck from behind, completely totaling his car.

The driver that hit him left him at the scene with a broken neck. Paul has two fractured vertebrae, torn tendons in his spine, as well as more superficial injuries from the impact. He will be undergoing surgery on his spine on 12/2 and will need to rest for a minimum of 6 weeks.

We are hoping to raise enough to ensure he can rest (and not work at any of his 3 jobs) and pay his bills. Any extra will go toward a new car.
