Show Love for Julie Drury in Her Fight Against Cancer

Our friend, Julie Drury is an amazing mom, wife, and educator. She shares two little spunky daughters, Lucy & Frankie, with her husband Reed. These little girls are the highlight of her life, little stand-up comedians, and add this special shine to their Mama’s eyes. Reed and Julie have been in love for 13 years and have celebrated 8 years of marriage, and he is truly, the original spark in her eyes.

As a high school educator, Julie spends countless hours teaching in our local school system. She is a groundbreaking teacher and many students come out of her class completely changed and more mature. She teaches the gift of compassion. These kids leave with a better understanding of society and a fresh out-look of human understanding. They learn kindness for one another. She has always served her students as a safe space, Julie makes herself available to any students that might just need someone to talk too. At any given time, you can ask HUNDREDS of teenagers about Mrs. Drury, and they will simply reply that they "absolutely love her”.

Julie possesses a grit that softens hearts and opens minds.

Julie and Reed recently learned that she has breast cancer. In early June, she quietly began taking action against her diagnosis. She has been traveling to and from Jacksonville, FL relentlessly. She has already had two surgeries and has begun chemotherapy this week.

Julie is incredibly humble and doesn’t like asking for help, even though she will be the first person to help *anyone*.
