Our beloved dad, Jesse aka Papa Chuey, has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 Stomach Cancer. This news has rocked our family to the core, and while the journey ahead is long and uncertain, one thing is for sure: his strength, faith and love for others have never wavered.

Anyone who knows my dad knows he’s the most selfless person you’ll ever meet. He’s the guy who would drop everything to help a friend, neighbor, or family member in need, no questions asked. He’s spent his life showing up for others, time and time again, and now we’re asking for your help to show up for him.

He’s the rock of our family, a devoted husband, and incredible father to myself and my sisters Victoria (Raul) and Kristy (Joe). He is the proud Papa to nine amazing grandchildren who adore him beyond words. His faith in God remains strong, even in the face of this devastating diagnosis. That faith, along with the love of his family, is what is carrying him through every day.

Our hearts are broken knowing how much he will endure in the months ahead. But if you know our dad, you know he’s strong-willed, determined, and fiercely committed to fighting this battle with everything he’s got.
