To some this may seem silly, but so many of you want to know how to help!

Iris & Mariah are the BEST, most responsible dog Mamas and are completely devastated with hearts broken into pieces over the sudden passing of their sweet Olive. Christmas Eve & Christmas Day wasn’t what it should have been

Olive woke up normal and playful as usual on Christmas Eve, but shortly after started vomiting and became disoriented with excessive drooling.

Mariah took her to the Emergency Vet in Fresno. Labs and X-rays didn’t show much.

She seemed a little better, was discharged and they took her home. That evening she lost control of her bladder, balance and was drooling EVEN more. They rushed her to the Visalia Emergency vet. More labs and X-rays were done. They again came back normal but it was obvious something wasn’t right. So they kept her overnight for monitoring. They were referred to Davis Christmas Day to see a specialist but after seeing her, Iris & Mariah did not feel comfortable transporting her, she was just not stable enough.

The Visalia Emergency Vet was able to contact a specialist and they recommended medication for brain swelling and antibiotics JUST INCASE.

But that didn’t last long, Olive was fading quickly and didn’t make it through the night.

Even with CPR….. she passed away on Christmas night.

Their poor baby went fast & so unexpectedly.

They now have emergency vet bills from 2 places & have taken some time off work to put the pieces together with NO real answers. They do have pet insurance, but as you know, the coverage is very limited.

As Mariah’s Mom, I’ll match the highest donor, dollar for dollar. Thank you all for you support for Iris and Mariah during this difficult time. You know those dogs are their world!
