If you knew Derek Rera, you knew he was a kind-hearted, funny, and caring person. He was an avid fisherman who loved fishing, just like his late son, Joseph Rera, who sadly passed away in November of 2020. Derek also ran his own local business, A-1 Mobile Glass, where he was admired for his hard work, dedication, and strong work ethic.

Derek leaves behind his loving wife, Erin, and his daughters, Lauren and Alexa. His sudden passing has been devastating for his family, who have already endured so much heartbreak with the loss of Joseph. This family has been through an incredible amount of pain, yet they continue to carry themselves with strength and love.
