It is with a heavy heart that we come together to support our incredible friend, Kate Ellis, who has just shared the news that she is facing breast cancer for the third time. This journey has been challenging for her, her beautiful children and her loving spouse, Brad.

Kate has been a source of strength and humour, even in the toughest times. But this time, she needs our help in practical ways. She returned to work last fall, after almost 2.5 years of surgeries and treatments. As she has barely been back to work for a year, she has not accumulated enough sick time to get her through to Long Term Disability a second time. Kate is about to embark on another year of active treatment, this time for Triple Negative Breast Cancer. She is facing 6 months of Immunotherapy and Chemotherapy, along with surgery and radiation.
