Since the minute that Rachel stepped into the Director role for Micah Children's Academy, she has been giving it her very ALL! She has gone above and beyond for the sake of our children and community.

These past few years haven't been easy: significant health challenges in our community as we all come out of the pandemic years, rising safety risks for our community both locally and internationally, supporting the Jewish community in times of horrific violence and war, as well as immigrants finding refuge in the Nashville community.

Rachel has been an incredible liaison between the families of MCA and the board, as well as a very creative leader, finding funding for many, many school improvements in such a short period of time (enhanced playground/play space, security features and fencing, cleaning protocols, staff training, new flooring throughout the school, rugs, toys, you name it...).

For all of the above, and especially her incredibly big and generous heart that she has shared with all of us, I would like to request that we send her off to the next part of her journey with a healthy dose of our appreciation!

Please contribute anything you can to show our collective gratitude, and it is also totally ok, if today is not a day you are able to do so. We will all hold each other up, and be better together.
